Why do I have no hot water?
On a gas tank it's usually the pilot, the thermocouple, the gas valve or a venting safety switch. We diagnose it and quote before any work.
Why won't my pilot light stay lit?
A worn thermocouple, a dirty pilot assembly or a draft problem are the most common causes.
What is the popping noise?
Sediment on the bottom of the tank. It lowers efficiency and can shorten the tank's life.
How long do hot water tanks last?
Typically 8 to 12 years. Rusty water, leaks and popping noises in an older tank mean it's time to plan a replacement before it fails.
Repair or replace?
On a newer tank, a part is usually worth replacing. On an older or leaking tank, replacement is safer and often cheaper long term. We quote both.
